Wednesdays 09h00 – 13h00
Thursdays 09h00 – 13h00
Saturdays 13h30 – 17h00
Each of these classes accommodates beginners and more advanced painters, and is an on-going art experience rather than a fixed course. Each year however, the basic principles of painting and design are tackled in some form, and there is an emphasis on drawing at the beginning of the year.
Artists may choose their own medium, but are encouraged to try other media for specific projects during the year.
It is not necessary to wait for the beginning of the year to join a class.
Fees are R 700 per month, payable at the beginning of each month.
Classes are held at 196, Drift Boulevard (R114), Muldersdrift. (see map)

THE THEME FOR 2020 IS "THE PLANT WORLD"
This year we will be concentrating on the ELEMENTS of painting and how they can be manipulated to achieve the PRINCIPLES of Unity, Variety, Dominance and Balance ie. to achieve a well designed composition.
Each Student will work in his/her chosen medium. You may work in one medium all year, or vary your media according to the element we are working on. You will choose supports according to your medium.
We will be using photographic references this year, and I will be asking you to take your own photographs to suit the particular element being dealt with.
